EXPERIENCE WILD ACACIA
Discipling the Kalahari people
We are actively involved in day to day discipleship, church planting, teaching, sustainability projects, education, and other faith based humanitarian efforts. We focus our time and attention on the settlements located deep in the Central Kalahari desert where there is rarely any other churches or non profits operating.
ACTIVITIES
Discipleship is at the center of all we do. Here are a few of the programs where we engage people in discipleship
3 WAYS TO GO
Do you want to experience the adventure of African missions for yourself? We have 3 ways to make that dream a reality for you.
DESERT SETTLEMENT OUTREACH
There are countless remote settlements dotted throughout Botswana. Working with the Chief of the village and the local people, we seek to plant locally run, self sustaining churches in places where few or no churches exist. We currently have over 20 church plants and are training up the leaders of those churches to reach out to the near by settlements so that all can benefit from the good news.
PRESCHOOLS
Working under the Botswana governments mandate to educate the settlement areas, we seek to start 100 preschools in the next 5 years. Our pilot school has had a dramatic effect on the education of the children so we are attempting to spread that success throughout the remote areas of the country
Once started, the preschools are financially self sufficient and run by the local people. We provide the initial supplies and training, and only play a support and advisory role after that.
SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
We are dedicated to providing not only Spiritual help, but also practical help. Operating under the "teach a man to fish" philosophy, we seek hard working locals and we provide resources and training for them to be able to follow their dreams, start a business, etc. Some of these projects include; Solar ovens, Solar lighting and electricity, farming and agricultural projects, and much more.
TEAM MISSIONS
We host church teams.
There is never enough hands, but with your help, we can do more. Whether your gifts are in construction, worship, preaching and teaching, vacation bible school, or life skills development, we need your help and we can provide the platform for you to express the Love of Christ through short term missions.

MONTHLY FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Keep the ministry flowing
This is our greatest need right now. We are constantly surrounded by needs in the community around us and we use our finances to bless people with a focus on sustainability and the "teaching to fish" concept. Our faithful monthly supporters give us the ability to quickly adapt to the situation and provide what is needed in the moment to meet them at their point of need. Even $10 or $25 a month can really make a difference in the amount of ministry we can accomplish and the needs we can meet. Giving options are explained at the bottom of the page
ONE TIME GIFTS
100% of your gift goes to the project that you designate.
Often we have special projects that will have a great impact on the community like founding a preschool, a sustainability project, building a toilet, playground, or place of meeting, or sponsoring publications like Bibles and discipleship materials in the local languages. If one of these special projects has captured your heart and you would like to designate a gift of any size, we will ensure that 100% of your gift goes to the project of your choice.
